It is the mission of the arts department to make sure that art, in all of its forms, is a valued core subject that benefits the lives of all students. Majoring in these disciplines help to develop a well rounded student who is capable of both creativity and critical thinking.
We believe that the skills acquired through an Arts Education prepares students for any career they may pursue. Skills like collaboration, creativity, and collaboration are essential in the arts, and are essential to successful individuals in all walks of life.
