Where Art is the Universal Language
It is the mission of the arts department to make sure that art, in all of its forms, is a valued core subject that benefits the lives of all students. Majoring in these disciplines help to develop a well rounded student who is capable of both creativity and critical thinking.
The skills our students learn in The Arts off 3rd will form the basis of the skills they will acquire as they progress in their arts education. We will develop talents in all aspects of theatre and theatrical arts, including, but not limited to, spoken-word poetry, acting, conducting, musical theatre, technical theatre and theatrical production.
Through collaborative and university teaching, we hope to inspire lifelong learning for the next generation of theater artists.
