The mission of the Theatre program at MS 936, Arts off 3rd is to provide a curriculum that enriches, educates, and entertains students and families in our diverse community.
This inclusive and participatory program seeks to prepare students for college and career readiness through a differentiated project based educational experience.
The skills our students learn at MS 936, The Arts off 3rd will form the foundation for the skills they will acquire as they move forward in their arts education. We will develop talents in all aspects of theatre and theatre arts including but not limited to acting, directing, musical theatre, technical theatre and theatre production.
Through collaborative and collegiate instruction we hope to inspire lifelong learning for the next generation of theatre artists.
