Graphic Design/ Digital Art Program

Portfolio Information

 

 

Students are introduced to the fundamentals of graphic design and build a design skillset through classes in basic design, communication, and typography. Classes augment students’ knowledge base as they develop fluency in current industry software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator as well as other digital art tablet applications. The teacher works with students to establish an in-depth understanding of the design process.  

 

Digital Art Portfolio Requirements:
 

A digital art portfolio of your work is required to be uploaded to myschools.com. 

 

Work will be presented digitally during an interview with Visual Arts Faculty.  Work should adhere to the following standards: 
 

• Submit 7-10 original computer or tablet-generated digital artworks that showcase your talents and diversity in digital art. 
   

• Work should be formatted for the highest quality - 6MB largest file size accepted. 
   

• Work should be formatted jpeg, pdf but no links to websites will be supported.
   

• Work should be cropped to only the image, no backgrounds. 
   

• Be prepared to discuss your work.
